Rewards For Pure Laziness Kick Ass!
Just another day of the week, you say? Not at all, says I!
Because randomly, an Iranian site linked to my latest Pic Of The Week (from last last week) about Driving In Russia (tagline being: “If you thought driving in Iran was bad…”) and I’ve gotten over 650 hits already.
And what have I done all week to promote traffic to this site? Absolutely nothing. Not even one, single post or update. It’s like stealing candy from a baby…delicious candy, like Mentos.
It is 3:31a.m. in the morning, Toronto (Eastern) time. WordPress time is an hour behind (Central? ), which means that each hour I have amassed almost 300 hits. If this keeps up, by midnight I will achieve way over 6000 hits. Doubts on that happening, but for sure when I wake up in the morning, Angry Chinese Driver will have set a brand-new all-time-high record for hits.
Ten days ago, my Chinese Hostage Negotiations article spiked to 158 hits and I was ecstatic. Today, I could very well surpass 1000 hits. I can’t wait to see what’s in store after the next ten days…

(Okay so my predictions were a bit off, but still good results!)
If my food blog gets 10 hits a day I’m lucky. Way to go! I would like to point out that I do in fact have you syndicated, and you have been for awhile, so wordpress is full of crap when they don’t show any syndicated hits on that graph. Where am I? Why am I insignificant? Obviously, I’m not worthy of being pointed out. Maybe they don’t include Canadians in that total? That must be it, they always forget about the Canadians!

Well, my blog stats show that 13 souls have checked this site out through Google Reader, so maybe you’re one of them! But syndicated views are usually just a couple for individual post stats…I don’t know how WordPress manages them.
